WHO

JOHN J. JOSEPH is a partner in the law firm of Joseph & Joseph where he practices in the areas of real estate, business litigation and general practice. Education: The Ohio State University (B.S. summa cum laude, 1978; J.D. (with honors in law, 1981). Listed in Best Lawyers in America 1992-to present. Listed in the Bar Register of Pre-Eminent Lawyers by Martindale -Hubbell; Member: Columbus Committee on Real Property and Financial Institutions,1985-Chairman Real Property Law Institute 1989-1990, Chairman Real Property Committee 1991, 1992; Ohio State Member Real Property Section and American Member Sections on Real Property and Trust Law, Corporation, Banking and Business Bar Law, Bar Association.

JEFF LEWIS of Swedlow, Butler, Levine, Lewis & Dye Co., L.P.A. Mr. Lewis is a recipient of the coveted “AV” rating from Martindale-Hubbell. His areas of practice include business, personal injury, criminal, and domestic relations litigation to land use planning and Zoning law. Mr. Lewis is a graduate of Miami (Ohio) University and earned his J.D. from The Ohio State University College of Law. He has been appointed as Special Counsel to the Columbus, Ohio, City Attorney, and his previous appointment as Law Clerk to both the Ohio House of Representatives Judiciary Committee and the Ohio State Auditor, Special Counsel to the Ohio Attorney General, the Ohio Auditor of State, and the Ohio Democratic Party, and General Counsel to the Franklin County Democratic Party. Mr. Lewis is a frequent lecturer and writer in the areas of both Trial Practice and Land Use Planning and Zoning Law, Mr. Lewis is a member of the Ohio Academy of Trial Lawyers, the Franklin County Trial Lawyers Association, and the American, Ohio State, and Columbus (where he serves on the Common Please court Committee) Bar Associations.

JEFF RICH is the managing partner of the law firm of Rich, Crites & Wesp.  A significant portion of his practice includes the monitoring of property tax duplicates for private individuals, companies, school districts, and public officials. Mr. Rich prosecutes and defends real property tax matters at county board revision, State Board of Tax Appeals, the State Board of Education, the Ohio Tax Commissioner and all appellate courts. He has negotiated numerous revenue sharing agreements between political subdivisions and private companies on tax abatement matters. Mr. Rich graduated from The Ohio State University, with a B.A. (with distinctions) He earned his J.D. from the Cleveland State University Law School, where he was the Editor-in-Chief of the Cleveland State Law Review. Mr. Rich has been admitted to practice in Ohio, Florida, Arizona, United States District Courts, in the Southern and Northern Districts of Ohio; United States Tax Courts and United States Supreme Court.

KENTON KUEHNLE is a partner of the law firm Allen, Kuehnle & Stovall, LLP; Augustana College (BA); Duke School of Law (JD); Author Ohio Real Estate Law WestGroup (scheduled for publication in late 2003); member of American College of Real Estate Lawyers, secretary of Title Insurance Committee; Columbus Bar - past Chairman of Real Property Committee (1976-78); Ohio State Bar Association - member (1979-82 & 1990-present) and chairman (1997-99) of Real Property Section Board of Governors; American Bar Association section of Real Property, Probate and Trust Law; Capital Law School - Adjunct Professor (paralegal program) 1998-2001
 

ROBERT WEILER joined the Robert Weiler Company in 1957. A graduate of the University of Arizona with honors, Dr. Weiler received a Masters Degree from The Ohio State University in Real Estate in 1964 and a Doctorate Degree in Finance in 1968. In 1983, Dr. Weiler was awarded a Juris Doctorate Degree from Capital University Law School and was admitted to the Ohio Bar that year. He has served on the faculty of The Ohio State University, Franklin University and Capital University Law and Graduate School and is a lecturer for The Ohio Association of Realtors.
